House Fire Recovery Effort

On Sunday, March 24th, my family and I were awoken to a fire on the front porch of our home, at around 11:24pm.
Despite desperate attempts to combat the flames our fire extinguisher ran empty before it was safely contained, and any further efforts were too slow, which unfortunately allowed the flames to spread up the front of the house and entirely out of control.
Authorities were contacted and the fire department arrived in a timely fashion but due to a pressure issue with the hydrant the entire house, as well as both cars (only one is pictured) were lost. All we were able to escape the house with were a box of family photos, our three dogs, and our lives.
I'm starting this gofundme because frankly, we lost everything. The Red Cross, as well as a solid support system has helped us get through this as well as anyone could've hoped, but that only goes so far. Absolutely anything that can be spared is greatly appreciated, I chose $5000 as it seemed like a resonable amount to keep the family afloat as we navigate through this tragedy and try to get back on our feet, but even if that goal isn't met any money donated will be going toward a good cause.

The $5000 goal was met and words can't describe how thankful my family and I are. I'm raising the goal to $10,000 just in case people still wish to donate, when I set the original amount I didn't in my wildest dreams think it would even come close to being met. I feel very loved and extremely blessed, thank you.
