Anderson Elem Science Camp

Our 5th graders have the opportunity to attend a science camp here in Santa Clara County. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for most kids here. A chance for them to get out of their home situations for a week and for them to experience nature, team building and discover what the world outside their neighborhood has to offer. In fact, for some, going to camp will be the first opportunity for them to actually sleep in a bed and have 3 meals a day. I'm asking for your help. The cost for each student to attend is $275. To most of these families, this is a small fortune. I have 6 fifth graders on my caseload alone. These are the SPED kids of the school that for sure can't afford it but desperately want to go! Any amount of money will help! I am asking you to please donate to this cause soon as they leave 12/8 and the stress and worry if these kids thinking they may not be able to go is so much for them to take on. Please help.
