On behalf of The Let It Fly Classic in conjunction with Chelsea Black Community (CBC), we present the Fifth Annual Let It Fly Classic Basketball Tournament & Scholarship.
As lifelong residents of Chelsea, we have witnessed many positive changes within our city, but also have continued to notice many roadblocks affecting the youth. We made a decision to do something about it! The Let It Fly Classic!
What is the Let It Fly Classic?
A ONE DAY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT WHERE ALL PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TOWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
During this event, there will be:
Food and Drinks
Live Entertainment and DJ
Voter Registration
Meet Local Officials, and Local Businesses
We are looking for your support in order to ensure that as we enter our fifth year the tournament and its purpose is bigger and better than ever.
These past few years have shown what happens when a community focuses its energy and unites for a great cause. Our goal remains the same, as members of this great and budding community, I believe you will be excited about an opportunity to encourage educational growth amongst our most precious citizens. Individuals that someday will be leaders within our community.
Any donation will be truly appreciated, and if you have any doubts are track record speaks for itself. Just check below:
Year 1 = 3 scholarships
Year 2 = 5 scholarships
Year 3 = 10 scholarships
Year 4 = 10 scholarships
This year our goal will be fifteen scholarship!!
