<div>Per fortuna una signora si è fermata, ha chiesto aiuto e ha contattato Christian e Raffaella della ditta Cri.Pi. Da lì è partita una catena di persone che hanno deciso di non voltarsi dall'altra parte, fino all'intervento dei volontari di Nidia.

<div>Da quel momento è iniziata una corsa contro il tempo.

<div>Pollicino è arrivato in clinica con un politrauma da investimento.
</div>
<div>Gli esami hanno evidenziato una grave frattura scomposta del femore destro, contusioni interne e, nei giorni successivi, una lesione traumatica del rene sinistro che ha provocato un importante aumento dei valori renali.

<div><strong>La TAC ha confermato un quadro molto complesso:</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>• frattura multiframmentaria del femore destro;</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>• lesione del rene sinistro con fuoriuscita di mezzo di contrasto;</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>• contusioni polmonari;</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>• versamenti interni e numerosi traumi associati.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>Per giorni i veterinari non hanno potuto operarlo perché l'anestesia avrebbe potuto essere troppo rischiosa.
</div>
<div>Eppure lui non ha mai smesso di mangiare, osservare il mondo e aggrapparsi alla vita.
</div>

<div><strong>UNA SCELTA DIFFICILE, MA NECESSARIA.</strong>

<div>Quando finalmente i valori renali sono tornati nella norma, è stato possibile intervenire.

<div><strong>Purtroppo il femore era troppo compromesso e non era possibile ricostruirlo: l'unica possibilità per salvargli la vita era amputare la zampa.</strong>

<div>Oggi Pollicino sta iniziando il suo percorso di recupero.
</div>
<div>Ha una zampa in meno, ma ha ancora tutta la voglia di vivere che solo i gatti sanno avere.
