Help Support Curt Haas Fight Cancer

March of 2017 Curt went to the doctor because he hadn’t been feeling good and had a cough so they treated him for pneumonia then 4 days before he had to go back for a recheck he ended up going to the ER because he wasn’t feeling any better, they ran tests and did X-rays and told us he had lung cancer. He then had a appointment for a scoping and that’s when we found out he had cancer in three spots! It started in his prostrate then went to his bones and lymph nodes! They started chemo right away and things were going good, numbers were dropping! After his 9th treatment he went back for follow up and we found out his numbers went up in his prostrate and his lymph nodes and bones looked good! So they started him on chemo pills. When he went back for a follow up, cancer came back in his bones! So they wanted to keep him going on the pills to see if maybe they didn’t give the pills enough time to work! Then he went for a follow up appointment and they decided they would start another kind of chemo but wouldn’t start that till he came back from his trip! The doctors told Curt is was a good thing for him to go see his grandson bowl and he was determined to get to Texas !! The drive down was good! As the days went on he just got worse! We ended up having to take him to the hospital! They then did test and scans and found out something is going on with the spine! So they admitted him! They then did ultrasound on his legs because he ended up losing feeling in his legs and couldn’t move them! We found out that the blood flow is good in his legs and that the cancer has spread to his spine! Now we need to get him flown back home to his doctors! Please keep Curt in your prayers!!
