From my Heart to yours

Hi. My name is Thomas. Here's my story as provided by my Sister in law Sue.

Basically, I'm a pretty healthy 59 yr old. Or so I thought. Six months ago my Wife and I moved to live our dream. We both found jobs.A couple weeks later. I didn't feel good.Went to clinic, Dr immediately sent me to hospital and admitted me. I had a heart attack without realizing it. Testing began. Results indicated my heart is in very bad condition. Enlarged heart, cardiomyopathy,diseased muscle, CHF and I'm in end stage heart failure.

Sent home after 6 days, I was given 3 medications which are giving me awful side effects.

My Cardiologists POA is to put a pacemaker in ASAP. And then we wait...for a HEART TRANSPLANT. 

I have always had a job  and provided for my Wife and our 2 Sons. Due to unforeseen circumstances neither she nor I have any insurance.My Wife is our sole source of income. No savings nest egg or any other resources. The hospital and medical bills are skyrocketing now. I am in the "waiting" phase for Disability. Last month Wife and I happily  celebrated our 38th Anniversary. We are praying for many more years of happiness together! I desperately want to stay alive! I want to be here for that ! Please help me make this hapoen.

The Cardiologist stated that the only thing that is keeping me alive at this time are  the medications. I would like to add my Faith is too. I have plenty of that.

I desperately need help. I want to stay alive! The burden on my Wife is unbelieveable. She's a beautiful person and would do anything to help anyone.We are trying to figure things out. The priority is a pacemaker to sustain me while waiting for heart transplant.

Our family is very passionate about closeness: my Wife Barb &I Brother in Law Frank & his girlfriend Jen and Sister & Brother in law Sue & Bob. And of course our two wonderful Sons.
They need their Dad.
