Jonathan's Summer Program

Hello, my wife and I have 7 children and our oldest, Jonathan, was invited by the Duke University TIP to study Physics and Engineering at Appalachian State University this summer.  He is 13 years old, super smart, and excited to study at College. The only problem is that the fee is a little above what my wife and I can come up with (due to having 7 children between 6 and 13 lol) so we wanted to see if we could get any help this way. He has been awarded some financial aid to pay toward his tuition but not enough to cover the entire cost of attendance, food, field trips and other sundry items.

 

Jon has already taken his ACT and qualified for college and this would a great step in getting him ready for it. He was one of 1300 middle scholars across the country who was invited and it would do him a world of good to get to learn with other children that are on par with him intellectually.
