The latest update is that Aula is cancer-free but that her kidney is small. She is receiving a shot every day to help her kidney grow. Hopefully the shots will be enough and she will not need a new kidney.

The original campaign, Help Refugee Family Battle Cancer, has all donations go directly to the family. This campaign, Holiday Celebrations for Refugees, is designed so that Brandon and I can use some money to help make this family's holiday celebrations fun. All money will go towards Christmas presents, and all remaining money will be donated to New York for Syrian Refugees, the organization that connected me to Aula's family.
