Hope For The Holidays

The holidays are a time of HOPE and FAITH in the future, and in this spirit Refugee Services of Texas and HeyXorje.com embark on a new year of providing OPPORTUNITY and LIFE-SAVING SUPPORT to displaced persons and survivors of human trafficking.

We are proud to announce that we are now on the path to serving asylum seekers. With the generosity of committed partners like YOU we have raised some of much needed funds to start our Asylum Seeker Services Program which will connect asylum seekers with community resources and provide services and goods including shelter, food, clothing, school enrollment, transportation, health care, mental health services, Know Your Rights presentations, ESL classes and more.

Making this vision a reality for Refugee Services of Texas and those most in need requires YOUR HELP.

- $50 Provides a "Welcome Bag" to a newly arrived refugee family.

- $84 Helps RST build an Asylum Assistance Case Manager position to provide short-term, comprehensive case management for families seeking asylum in Texas!

 - $100 Provides a night of emergency housing for a survivor of trafficking.

- $250 Provides an opportunity for an RST client to apply for their green card.

- $500 Helps cover costs for a refugee child's special medical procedure.

- $1000 Helps fully furnish an apartment for a newly arrived refugee family.
