5Rhythms Float - Drums on Broadway!

Dear Friends of the 5Rhythms Community,

I am thrilled to lead our dancing tribe in the 12th Annual Dance Parade this year!  This will be the 5Rhythms 9th year in the parade and we welcome you to join us dancing down Broadway and across Saint Marks!

We are asking for your support to raise money for a fully decorated PARADE FLOAT  -- for the first time with live drums!  And we have great perks to help make this happen.

The parade was originally founded as a protest to the 1926 Cabaret Law that restricted dance in NYC.  Just a few months ago, the organizers of the parade managed to repeal the law and are celebrating with the theme "THE CABARET OF LIFE"

Your contribution will enable us to secure a beautiful float package that comes with liability insurance, a sound system to amplify our drums and a tow vehicle to pull a 28+ foot parade float.

All proceeds in excess of our cost will be donated to 5Rhythms Reach Out, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that provides 5Rhythms dance to hospitals and community centers.
