Rebuilding Lives: Support Mahmoud’s Family in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Mahmoud Al-Zard, a 34-year-old from Gaza. I once worked in a construction company, striving to build a better future for my children. However, the occupation has shattered everything.
It took me much thought and hesitation to write this, but my determination to save my family surpasses all other considerations.
We have endured numerous wars in Gaza and never considered leaving because of our deep love for this land. What we face now is not just war; it is genocide, a crime, a mass killing. The entire world witnesses this genocide. We have been bombed with various missiles, forcibly displaced from our homes, starved, and still face daily bombings. Diseases and epidemics have spread as we are crammed into the northern area, and the occupation blocks food, water, and essential supplies. We have been enduring this for 265 days.
I have a beautiful family: my wife and three children. My eldest son, Yahya, is five years old and has not been able to continue his studies. My daughter, Kinda, is three years old, and my youngest, Menna Allah, is one year and two months old. They have known nothing but fear and turmoil.
They are terrified of the bombings, and my wife and I do our best to stay patient with them. My wife has even gathered neighborhood children to provide some semblance of normalcy and entertainment.
But these children live in constant fear. They have witnessed horrors that most people only see in movies, unfolding right here in Gaza.
Your donations represent our last hope. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
