Keep Take One Theatre Open

The doors of Take One Theatre, a community theatre for kids and teens on Long Island, will close on December 31st, leaving all of our actors, our special players (a special needs theatre program we run), directors, and crew with no place to do the one thing we truly love - theatre. I've been part of Take One since its inception in 1988. It's always been difficult to sustain, but somehow we've done it up until now. Take One celebrates people's differences. The things that make you different is the thing that makes you special. I run the theatre with my Dad. We open our hearts to all of these kids, who are now "my kids." As soon as you come to Take One, you are family. I'm not ready for this to me over. "My kids" deserve many more years at Take One. Please make our dreams come true and donate to keep the theatre open!
