As many of you are aware, my mother, Clara Luz Escalante, has passed after fighting Breast Cancer for 4 years. In spite of the cancer metastasizing, she always stayed positive no matter how heartbreaking the news was. During the dark times she always sought light. She was a mother and father to her kids. Unfortunately, we lost our world and the person who kept us whole.

We're now facing the challenge of arranging her funeral and the costs are adding up quickly. As a single mother, she was head of our household and I, Jonathan, now carry the responsibility of providing for myself and my younger brothers. We want to give my mom the goodbye she deserves, one that matches the love she gave us as our mother and our father.
