Guardian Angel Valerie Nelson

Many people have heard of the Morgan Jayne Project, or have supported it one way or another..a Project that truly shows what our community is made of and what can be accomplished when we all pull together! 'BABIES' ARE NOW 'CHILDREN' BECAUSE YOU CARED & DECIDED THEY DESERVED BETTER!! Whether you've purchased the amazing soy candles around town... made by Shelley and Karl at Sage Valley in Rosedale, donated powdered formula or clothing, sponsored a family's gifts or shipping donations for the annual Christmas Miracle, sponsored a child's annual school fees, bought a burger at one of the bbqs throughout the year, played baseball in the annual Red Eye tournament....you have all made the Project a success and truly made a difference!!

But the person who puts all of this charity into action, handles the day to day operations of the Project, bottle feeds babies, visits the dirt shacks these struggling families call home, has had many many "accidental adoptions" as she calls them (I just LOVE this term) and basically gives all of herself & more to the families of Roatan, Honduras, whose lives have been touched by HIV & AIDS, is Valerie Nelson. Valerie is a former Canadian who lives this reality day in and day out...making a difference for children who would not have a chance without her, or the love of so many who care and are willing to DO something to make a difference!!

Funds are needed to help "Heal the Healer" so she can continue to make a difference and continue doing the things she has dedicated her life to. She has given everything she has to the children of the Project, so it's time we all pull together once again to show that we will stay by her side and help her through this, and show her a piece of the generosity she shows to everyone around her every day!!
