Buzz went missing on the 16th of June from our home, we have done everything we possibly could to find him, posters, searching, knocking on doors, you name it we have done it.

On the evening of 20th of June 2025. A lovely lady literally saved Buzz, Buzz was found in her garden under some bushes. He was tired, not moving and covered in flies, and fly eggs, she took him to the emergency vets straight away.

We do not know what exactly has happened but with the injuries he has sustained. It is likely he has been involved in a HIT & RUN on the night he went missing. He has since been closer to home then we ever thought but couldn't not get back to us.

I never in a million years would of thought I would be writing this but we need your help!

Currently Buzz is stable, he is comfortable under strong pain relief. He has sustained extensive injuries. Which will require orthopedic surgery and amputation. Due to Buzz loosing alot of blood he is now anemic and his levels need to improve to go ahead with the surgery.

I am asking for help to cover this emergency vet bill, I never in my life imagined he would be in such a pickle, he is such a loving and loyal cat, with only being 19 months I just hope for now he is stable and can improve, and not in pain!

Im absolutely heartbroken, unfortunately buzzs injuries were to extensive for his little body to fight anymore, he passed away around 8:50 on the 21st, luckily in my arms whilst he crossed the rainbow bridge.

As a family we are devastated- particularly my 8 year old son, as buzz belonged to him. I also believe his brother Woody is noticing things are not quite right.
