Our friend, Steve Ruff had a large hemorrhagic stroke on 4/8/23. The stroke has left him with partial paralysis, lacking mobility, speech, movement and communication. Steve has been at Enloe Rehabilitation for the last several weeks however with insurance now exhausted he is due to be released on June 6th. The next step is to attend a specialized neuro rehab in Bakersfield, CA which is an enormous cost not

covered by insurance. It is in Steve’s best interest to be admitted, ASAP!

There are a lot of unknowns for Steve’s future and it will be a long road as they have told him it will take several months to years to see the probability of returning to independence, however, as his VILLAGE we are determined to give him everything possible so he can return to be the man, father, husband and friend we all love so much.
