Help Our Little Grace Get Better

We are Grace’s parents and we are reaching out to everyone here because Grace is in the hospital. She is getting a blood transfusion as I write. Somehow her red blood cells have declined from 45 to 19 in less than 3 weeks. This started last week just 2 1/2 weeks after her yearly appointment where she had her urine and blood analysis done (which was A-okay). She was also given her rabies, leukemia and FVRCP booster at that time. Now nearly 3 weeks later she is in critical condition at the MASH hospital in Los Angeles. They are doing a ton of tests that take time to get back and they are giving her the blood transfusion and starting her on steroids to hopefully get her red blood cells from attaching each other. All they can tell me is that she has a faint positive for FELV even though she has always had her current shots in order. She is also on Doxycycline in case it’s a rare virus she contracted. We don’t know if she will make it but are trying everything we possibly can to save our little baby Grace. Any of you who know her know she is a little love bug ready for the brush and a good purr session. Firstly, we ask that you send any good possible mojo that you can to our sweet girl. Please pray for her survival. We would really appreciate all the strength and good energy as we can muster doing this emotional and awful time for her Secondly, we are also reaching out for your help as our vet bills have already reached $5000 in two days and are still climbing. Any tiny bit counts for her life to be saved and we appreciate any single you can do.
