My Dad's Heart Surgery

I'm in Dominican Republic right now attending to my dad's health after he had a major heart attack on the Monday morning of Dec 2nd. He's been in the hospital in and out of ICU since then and all of our credit cards are maxed out.
We are in dire need of help to fund the surgery that is going to keep him alive. Unfortunately, in this country, if you don't pay you don't live. Please help and forward this to everyone.Thank you.
Estoy en Republica Dominicana ahora con mi Papa que tuvo un ataque cardiaco el lunes 2 de Diciembre. Ha estado en el hospital, entrado y saliendo de cuidado intensivo desde esa fecha y ya todas las tarjetas no pasan.
Estamos necesitando de su ayuda para una cirugia que lo va a mantener vivo. Desafortunadamente en este pais, si uno no paga, uno no vive. Por favor ayudenmos con lo que tengan y mandele este link a todo el mundo. Gracias.

My dad is in an induced comma right now but stable. He should be having his surgery in the morning. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Edit 12/13 12:28PM Thank you everyone for donations. There are no words to describe how it feels to get so much support. We are close to the finish line for this surgery and my dad is already in surgery. The hospital agreed to let him have the surgery and gave us an extra 24 hours to pay. Thank you again everyone for your help, prayers, donations, positive energy and support. My dad is one lucky guy.

Edit 12/13 5:33PM Papi has been out of surgery for a couple of hours now. Everything seems to be stable. The surgeon says everything went smoothly. We are hoping for a complication-free recovery in the next 24 hours. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you to everyone who continues to make donations and send out their love and support. We have until 11AM tomorrow morning to complete payment, and I am confident somehow we will come through. Please continue to share Papi's story. We need all the help we can get. Every penny counts.
