Baby Gunner

On 03/06/18 Gunner entered the world.  Deidre and Mathew couldn’t be happier as first time parents. Gunner was absolutely perfect in every way. After only being in this world for 9  days Gunner was taken back to the hospital. He has been to Newark, RGH and now Strong. He stopped eating and the parents were concerned. After he stopped breathing the doctors began running multiple tests. Gunner has tested positive for sepsis. This is something very serious, especially for such a small human. Gunner is under watch from the trauma team at Strong as he cannot breath on his own, he has an irregular heart pattern, they have found a “cloudy” spot on his chest. He has undergone a spinal tap and brain scan... Gunner is also being treated for menengitis AND pneumonia. How much does one little 7 pound soul have to take? I ask for your help as this family is unable to be at work, now staying at the Ronald McDonald house and unable to take care of everyday “life”. I know their bills are going to add up fast, especially the medical bills for their new baby. Anything is greatly appreciated. I thank you in advance. This struggle is far from over for the Bumps and I want their only focus to be on Gunner.
