Over that past 5 years, Yvonne Thompson has gone through many difficult challenges regarding health. In 2008, Yvonne fought a battle with necrotizing fashitis,, commonly known as flesh-eating disease or flesh-eating bacteria syndrome, is a rare infection of the deeper layers of skin and subcutaneous tissues . Beating the odds I learned to walk again and kept my leg. In 2009 my husband passed with the difficulty from prostate cancer. On Monday, December 9th, 2013, I was given the diagnosis of stage 1 liver cancer. All ready the medical bills have started to build. All though I have insurance, the co-pays are expensive. In one weeks time I've already spent $205 in co-pays. As my treatment progress I know the cost will rise and it is not an expense that I want my family to endure.
