Opera Works' Winter Intensive Program

Attending Opera Works' advanced artist program in the summer of 2008 made me the artist, teacher and person I am today. I have the tremendous opportunity to return to this unique, creative and supportive environment and catapult my work to another level. The timing could not be more perfect; when I return from the winter intensive, I'll be just a few days away from doctoral auditions.

I'll be attending the alumni track of the Winter Intensive program, where I'll have a rigorous daily schedule including Performance Techniques, Acting, Coachings, Conducting, Improvisation, Alexander Technique lessons, Yoga, Movement, plus Social Marketing & Career Planning. I'll also have the opportunity to perform in an original work of physical theater, arias and art songs, created by me, my classmates and our outstanding teachers.

Where does the money go?
Tuition: $975 (after my $500 scholarship from Opera Works)
Housing for two weeks, breakfasts and three dinners a week: $1043
Round trip flight to LA: $520

Any funds raised beyond my goal will be paid forward into the Opera Works Scholarship fund to help future artists take advantage of these ground-breaking, life-altering programs.
