Hungry Horses In Need Of Help

If we all knew what the future holds for us we would be better prepared for the hard times we all experience from time to time. Most of our hard times we can over come, but when it comes to our health that is  much harder for us to get through. 

There is an older couple that live in North Dakota that have been ranchers for many years. Their health has started going down hill and it has taken some time before the family realized how bad it was getting since they do not live close by.  As soon as they realized what was happening they quickly stopped the breeding of the horses and have been trying to reduce their numbers down by selling or giving the horses away.  Because of where they live, it has not been easy . It has taken 2 years to get down to having just 7 horses left . This couple can no longer care for these horses and need to find them homes. Since their health has gone bad they do not have the money to feed or care for them properly. 

I have a friend that lives in Utah that rescues animals in need. She has reached out to me to ask if I can help in this situation. She can rescue these horses, but does not have the money it will take to transport them to a new home for care that they need. She is afraid that once winter hits these horses will starve and freeze to death. With travel expenses, vet bills, farrier and feed each horse will cost approx. $1,000.00 to recover.

I would be very grateful for any donations anyone can help with . It will all be used to rescue these big sweet horses and give them the proper care and food that they are needing . Time is against us with weather approaching .
