Vision Treatment for Dayde

Retinitis Pigmentosa is an inherited retinal disease that is responsible for gradual decline in vision. RP attacks and kills the cells of the retina lining located in the back inside wall of the eye. Seeing depends on these "rod and cone" photoreceptor cells to transmit lighting information to the brain from the retina.

Since being diagnosed as a child, RP has posed many challenges for Dayde during her lifetime including retiring from her career as a cosmetologist with her own salon in her early thirties, and giving up driving. Even though she loses more and more sight every day, she coped, and inspiringly carried on, all the while raising a family and continuing on bringing joy to this world.

The inevitable future for her eye condition is that her eyes will eventually succumb to complete darkness. Dayde has seen this scenario play out through her diminishing peripherals. Her father Jimmy has become blind due to RP, and for so long she has accepted this as her future also.

She had accepted this as her future, because before now there has been little hope for a "fix" for RP. So, it is not surprising that since finding out about The Stem Cell Rejuvenation Center in Phoenix, Arizona, who are practicing Adipose stem cell therapies with promising results, she has decided to undergo stem cell therapy treatment.
