19 Months Loving the Thai People

I spent 2012 living in Thailand and working with the Light Church in NakhonRatchasima, which is easily in one of the most unreached regions in Thailand. I spent my year teaching cell groups in four government high schools, 2 universities and at the Light Church which is a high school/college-aged church.
In April 2014 till October 2015 I will be finishing up the last year and a half of my language school while serving at the Abundant Life Homes. The ALH house HIV children who have been orphaned. They have 5 houses that house 6 children in each home, including a house mom for each. The children range from 4-5 years old to around 18 years old. I will play a "big sister" role, helping as needed, spending my afternoons with the kids as we work to tear down the "leper/outcast" mentality that finds it way into the lives of these children and others with this disease.
My goal is to raise $15,000 it will cost for me to live there and to study. I already have at least $2,000 raised to off-set other costs outside of this $15K.
I love the Thai people and am planning to love them with all that I am as long as He lets me. I am beyond excited for this next chapter that the Lord is leading me to. It's never been easy but it has ALWAYS been worth it.
I know that I'm not alone in loving the Thai people and desiring for them to know the love of the Father. A huge thank you to all of you who have gave before and who continue to give to see our prayers become a reality.
