Donations for Max

Meet Max! He is a 10 year old Ukrainian orphan who will be staying with us for 4 weeks over Christmas. We are so beyond thrilled to welcome him into our family and love on him for a whole month. Max is coming to the U.S. with nothing, because he doesn't have anything of his own. Want to hear something awesome? We can send him back with a giant suitcase full of play clothes, socks, undies, shoes, and fun toys. He will be able to keep these items as his own once he returns to the orphanage. While Max is here we want to get him everything that he needs so that he isn't going without. All money that is graciously donated will go directly to purchasing these necessities for Max. If we reach our goal, we will be taking him to Disneyland while he is here! There are so many opportunities to donate to orphans overseas. In this situation, we are able to directly provide for one child in desperate need. I love that we can keep up with Max and watch the love transform him. I am so excited!

The Lord has carefully knit this together and presented it to us in His perfect timing. The Lord already blessed Max with the $3,000 dollars needed to pay for plane ticket and travel expenses, before we even knew we would be hosting him. We will continue to trust God and have faith in His beautiful plan.


Please pray blessings over Max and our time with him! Pray for a smooth transition into our home and that he feels comfortable and very, very loved. Pray for the Lord to open our hearts to Max and that the Lord guides us and makes His plan known.
