For Christmas many are asking for toys and gifts. My sisters and I are asking for my mom to have a proper funeral. Our mom was our world and now she is gone right before our favorite time of the year. It is going to be so hard without her. It is even harder when you don't know what to do to put her to rest. My mom went into the hospital Thursday morning 12/5/13. They said she had a small stroke. We thought she was going to be fine. Later that evening my sister Christina was sitting with her when she went into cardiac arrest. Tons of doctors ran in to save her. After waiting on edge, the doctor came out to let us know she is on life support and they had to put a stint in her heart. we stayed up all night. I fell asleep in the car downstairs because we where not aloud to sleep in the hospital.... My sister Christina sat down in the front seat and before she could take a deep breathe, her phone started ringing..... It was the hospital. They said our mom has went into cardiac arrest again... We dropped everything and started running in the hospital. All we could hear was loud sirens going off... (The worst feeling in the world). All we could hear on the intercom was "code blue, second floor, room 10, code blue, second floor, room 10) That's my moms room......... When we went in they said she wasn't going to make it... we didn't believe them, the nurses said the doctors had no hope.... her liver and kidneys had shut down.... her pancreas wasn't working either... her blood became so acidic they said it wasn't suitable for life anymore... our blood is between 7.4-7.5 PH. My moms became 6.9 PH.... we waited all night if her blood pressure would stay to at least 60 they could do dialysis.. she stayed in the 20-30's..... When we would say "MAMMA" she would open her eyes... they said that was amazing because medically she should not have been able to do anything... but she continues threw out the night opening her eyes and squeezing our hands... God I wish we could have done something for her..... they told us we no longer had a choice... she was going to go into cardiac arrest again and we needed to make the decision to make her a D.N.R (do not resuscitate) .. Her eyes where watering so we knew she must have been in pain. we decided to take her off of life support because she had no oxygen in the brain... her brain was bleeding, none of her organs where working,, we had to let our mamma go.. The absolute worst thing that has ever happened to me and my sisters.... Two months ago we lost Charlene our big sister on 10/08/13 at 9:33 a.m. my mom passed 12/07/13 at 9:07 a.m. We have been threw so much and don't know how to go on. We had such a hard time getting the funds to cremate my sister... we did it though... I have hope that the lord is going to give us a miracle... I haven't given up on the lord yet but I will say its hard not to question him... i wish he would have given us Christmas together... its not fair... Me (Ashley), Lisa , and Christina are begging everyone to please, please help us... This would be the best gift anyone could ever give us.... This is all we want. My mamma deserves a Funeral, she loved us more than anything and she made sure she told us everyday. She talked about us all the time we where her world And she is ours.... We love you mamma.- Love Ashley, Lisa, and Christina,,,, Forever and Always <3
