Hello, my name is Henry Graves. I am writing this story because I desperately need help to save my home that I recently purchased. I bought the house located on 5207 Ridgeton Drive Houston, TX 77053 on September 18, 2020 after going through a grueling 8 month long home buying process. The home purchase exhausted my savings and it took me over $10,000 to finalize the purchase of my home. On February 17, 2021, my home was damaged as a result of the Winter Storm Uri as frozen pipes burst in my garage and bathroom. The house currently is infested with mold and mildew as a result. I sent in a claim to my insurance carrier but they are refusing to pay for the damages. I was able to find a contractor by the name of Randy Madewell and I paid him $8800 of my savings but he took the money and only did a job where he demolished some parts of the house for 6 hours worth of work and refused to complete the rest of the project because the insurance company wouldn't pay the rest of the project; he is holding the money hostage. I have been living at a hotel for the past 3 months and I work 3 jobs at a total of 68 hours a week just to make ends meet. I was fortunate enough to find a good and decent contract, Mr. Omar Caseres, to complete the job but the cost is over $40,000. I need the funds before the end of the summer of 2021 so that I can pay him for the work that he is going to do for me. I am in desperate straits. Any amount of money would be a great blessing to me for sure. Please I would like to thank everyone for reading my story and for taking the time to even think about my situation.
