Anyone who knows the Vidler family has been on the receiving end of their
warmth and friendship. It doesn't take long to realize that these folks would
do most anything for those that are in need. And without question.
It's now time to consider how we can show the Vidlers how much we care about them. As you may know, Dale Vidler is fighting a serious infection, and has been hospitalized, in intensive care, for close to 15 days. He's holding his own, but on a ventilator and sedated while the doctors deal with what's going on. Nancy has been at his side day and night, keeping a close eye.
For those of you that have heard of Dale's hospitalization, you've been overwhelming generous in your requests to do whatever is needed to help out. At this time, visits aren't appropriate, or calls....but Nancy knows we care, although it's difficult for her to respond.
There is a big way that we can help with this burden. Although the Vidlers do have health insurance, hospitalization of this type, and the subsequent recuperation assistance, represents a significant financial hardship. As a way to show Dale and Nancy how strongly we feel about them, we're hoping you'll join us in building a financial 'cushion' that will help them cover those current and future costs that won't be paid by insurance, as well as any other expenses that will cause stress during this very challenging time.
Will Vidler is doing an exceptional job making sure that it's business as usual at Sunny Acres Farm, but as those of you in the horse world know very well, the three of them have to work together very closely, every day, to keep things running smoothly. Your contribution will help allow them to pay the associated costs, and ensure that their beloved family business will not be jeopardized.
We all have much for which we're thankful, especially during the holidays. As we consider those friendships that have enriched our lives, please consider making a contribution in any amount to one of those friends.
