Roarie's Surgery

Hello Everyone!
We look at friend's and family's fundraising pages all of the time and wish we could help more. So, by saying that, we know how powerful social media can be; we also know we have some awesome family and friends who will support us whether it is monetary, prayers and kind words and thoughts.....
We adopted sweet little Roarie February 14, 2014 from the Memphis Animal Shelter which is a high kill shelter. Her and her 8 brothers and sisters were there without their mother at only 3-4 weeks old. She was barely 4 pounds and we could see her bones. We knew we could not leave her there and are so happy she is apart of our family.
Unfortunately in the past few months, Roarie started limping. She was first diagnosed with a pulled CCL which is equivalent to a human ACL but even after pain and anti-inflammatory meds, she wasn't getting any better. We went for a second opinion and found out that she really has hip dysplasia. This is a common hereditary disease in dogs but usually at an older age. Roarie just had her 1st birthday a few weeks ago and our vet says she has hips of a 6+ year old dog. So, long story short, Roarie needs a double hip replacement or she will not be able to walk or run soon.
Luckily, we do have pet insurance but they only cover a small portion. We will of course, not let our baby girl suffer!
Please pray for our vet and a speedy recovery as Roarie's surgery is scheduled for March 29, 2016!
