Christmas in Kenya

My name is Hannah Nichols. I'm a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in education and minoring in nonprofit studies. I first knew that God was putting the nations on my heart during Christmas break my senior year of high school and I more recently became aware of His call for me to Africa within the past year. Last summer I had the most blessed opportunity to travel to Kenya for two weeks and invest in a Children's Home there that had just been opened a few months before. Ever since that trip, I have remained confident that the Lord has put a calling to Africa on my life and specifically a call to His children in Africa. And now I am excited to tell you about another opportunity that God has given me to return to my home in Kenya this December. I will get to return to the Children's Home that I stayed at last summer, and my team and I will get to lead a Vacation Bible School for the children at this home and we will also give them a Christmas Program and celebrate the Christmas season with them in a place where the love of God is so abundant and never-ceasing. God is calling me to take a leap of faith with this trip, as it is fast approaching (I will leave December 27th and return on January 11th) but I know that God loves to honor the faithfulness of His children and I am excited to watch Him work and provide for the biggest passion He has ever put on my heart!!
