Southeast Asia Nursing Mission

Hello! My name is Abby Michelsen. I am a graduate student at California Baptist University; I am getting my masters in nursing and will be taking my RN license exam this August. This journey of nursing has been quite the trek with the hand of God guiding me. I have traveled the world, but now I am using my nursing experience to join with my school to work in villages in need. God has opened this opportunity to develop my nursing skills, desire to serve others, and passion for the world. Being able to experience this with my nursing professors and colleagues will foster learning and development post graduation, forever imbedded in my heart. Overall, life at CBU is really great. God is teaching me so much; I am truly blessed to be here.

This summer, I am serving on an International Service Projects (ISP) team at CBU. My team of about 10 people will be journeying to Southeast Asia from May 7^th "“ 27^th. We will be studying the culture and ministering to the locals with our acquired nursing skills. I am really looking forward to serving on this team because based on my prior experience it is a life changing experience. I am thrilled to have this overseas opportunity to share the truth with people who do not know Jesus!

I am praying that some of you will be able to support me financially. The cost of this project is $3,400 per participant; I would truly appreciate any size sponsorship. Specific financial deadlines are listed below for your reference.

· February 17 40% of Funds Raised = $1,360
· March 24 70% of Funds Raised = $2,380
· May 1 100% of Funds Raised = $3,400
