Legacy Builders Group is raising donations in honor of two people who have battled a blood cancer. One is Greg Price who after enduring two battles of lymphoma, is now eight years cancer free after a autologous bone marrow transplant!!! His team name for the walk is 4 Girls For Daddy. He is married with 4 daughters all born after diagnosis and treatment:-) The $ will go toward his LLS team , Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in hopes of finding a cure.
Another person we are raising funds for is Liz Lothrup. She is 20 years old(21 in August) and this is her second battle. She was diagnosed with Leukemia the first time at age 14 as a freshman in high school and in remission in 2011. She found out in June that the cancer is back in her brain, glioblastoma stage 4. Money is being raised by her family to help off set medical costs and we will contribute to that. She soon will be traveling to North Carolina for treatment at Duke University where she is part of a study.
