Hi Friends. Thank you for being here. Michael & I are going through an extremely difficult situation and we're reaching out to community for any support that could help bring some ease into our life.

The building we live in made a financial error in our billing and we are being hit with a $7,000 bill that must be paid by the 30th November. We had absolutely no control over this. At the same time, we need to find a new place to live (which we have found), but requires costs to move, whilst also having our monthly costs pilling up. This came at a time where Michael was laid off from a job he received back in September.

Given my immigration situation and all the unexpected fees that come with it, and lack of ability to work that came with that, we are using up all our savings and we still need support. We have reached out to our families and they have helped in the best way that they can but we're still needing extra financial support to get us through the next 90 days.

We're looking for any donations AND any form of work that we can exchange. Michael is a photo, video expert with endless equipment and edit skills, whilst I am a yoga, meditation & somatic facilitator. I have endless pre-recorded sessions that I'm happy to exchange with anyone. We are open to ANY form of work that comes our way, not just our skillset and passions. We are both committed, trustworthy and reliable and as an immigrant with deep immigration trauma, I am open to any form of support. We are also open to renting out Michael's equipment, our 2 cars and any ways we can generate any income during these challenging times. Maybe you know of someone that's able to support us by hiring us or offering us financial support. We are also reaching out to churches and other financial aid but giving my immigration status, it is much harder.

Both of our mental health have not been okay these past 2 weeks because of all this hardship and changes. We are both really going through a hard time, and our history does not help but we are determined to find a way through these times.

We both hold the awareness that this is truly happening as a great karmic clearing for us both to build a deeper sense of internal safety. We have both held so much shame and resistance around asking for support and help so we are here, in full humility, asking the people we love for any form of support / jobs / love / connections to bring some ease during this time.
