</div>Dear friends and supporters, <br /><br /> I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a humble request for assistance during a challenging time in my life. As many of you know, I have been on a difficult journey battling breast cancer, and I am now facing a series of surgeries and medical bills for both treatment and reconstruction. <br /><br /> This journey has been filled with its share of ups and downs, but what has truly warmed my heart is the incredible support I have received from all of you. Your kind words, encouragement, and unwavering friendship have been a source of strength for me. <br /><br /> It has been one year since I underwent a bilateral mastectomy, and although I consider myself lucky to have survived cancer and caught it in time, this process has left its scars and changed who I am. The amount of pain from the severe nerve damage resulting from the three surgeries has left me feeling almost defeated. <br /> I have already moved past the stage of people looking at my chest deformation, and now I'm embarking on my reconstruction journey and aiming for a pain-free life. 

Every time I shower, I can feel the water run down my face and neck, but I don't feel anything until it reaches my belly.
It serves as a constant reminder of a living nightmare. <br />I dream for the day to come when I can feel normal, reduce my nerve pain, and feel a part of my chest. I just need closure… <br /><br /> Fortunately, I have a weekly counseling appointment with my therapist and close friends who have truly made my life better every day. 

My current medical condition has not only been a nightmare for me but has also been extremely hard for my closest family, friends, and especially my daughter Sabina and loving partner, Oliver. As I prepare for another journey to rediscover my old self... <br /><br /> I never thought I would be sitting here, creating a GoFundMe for my situation, but I'm trying to stay positive and seek help as suggested by my therapist. <br /><br /> Unfortunately, the healthcare system in this country is not always as supportive as we would hope, and even with insurance, patients often bear a significant financial burden. 
My last surgery on January 11th, 2023, cost a staggering $298,603.57, and while my insurance at the time covered a great portion, I found myself responsible for a substantial amount. 
To cover these medical bills and continue my treatment, I had to take out a personal loan and get into deeper debt. I’ve been on unemployment since October 2023 so I’m paying for my own health insurance monthly premiums and year deductible.  I’m doing this on my own with your kind support. <br /><br />The weight of these financial obligations can feel overwhelming, especially as I face my upcoming surgery on this November 10th, and a few more after that. This is where your support becomes invaluable to me. <br />I have created a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds for my medical expenses and alleviate the financial strain I am currently experiencing.

<div>Espero que este mensaje los encuentre bien. Me estoy comunicando con ustedes con una humilde solicitud de ayuda en un momento desafiante de mi vida. Como muchos de ustedes saben, he estado en una difícil batalla contra el cáncer de mama y ahora enfrento una serie de cirugías y facturas médicas tanto para el tratamiento como para la reconstrucción.

<div><span>Ha pasado un año desde que me sometí a una mastectomía bilateral y, aunque me considero afortunada de haber sobrevivido al cáncer y detectarlo a tiempo, este proceso ha dejado sus cicatrices y ha cambiado quién soy. El dolor causado por el grave daño nervioso resultante de las tres cirugías me ha dejado casi derrotada. </span>

<div><span> Ya he superado la etapa en que las personas observaban la deformación de mi pecho, y ahora estoy emprendiendo mi viaje de reconstrucción, buscando una vida libre de dolor. Cada vez que me ducho, siento el agua correr por mi rostro y cuello, pero no siento nada hasta que llega a mi abdomen. Sirve como un recordatorio constante de una pesadilla viviente. </span>
