As many of you know, I have spent the past 10 months in treatment for anorexia and several other debilitating conditions. I’ve been in multiple treatment centers, and was hospitalized twice. It’s been a long hard road, but a huge blessing came about a month ago when my team at UCLA sent me to a new treatment center that has made all the difference for me. I’m doing well, and I’m nearing the end of my treatment, but I can no longer afford it. I’ve been on medical leave from work since October and I’ve spent everything I have, and then some, on my treatment to get well, and get my life back. My family has been extremely supportive and helped me all they can, but we’ve come to a point that my only option will be to leave treatment early, against my treatment team’s advice, unless I can fund raise the money to complete my last couple of weeks as I begin to transition home. My fear is that if I can’t raise the money, I will have to leave prematurely, before I am ready to be on my own outside of treatment. I don’t want to go backward and lose all the progress I’ve made here. If you’re in a position to give, please consider contributing to my treatment.
