Thursday morning, I left for work with a happy healthy 3 month old son. Thursday evening, I arrived at my home to discover my child with bruises on his nose, his throat, his chest, his arms and his back. A trusted friend had been watching him, and I was in utter shock. My mother and I took him to Reid hospital to be evaluated to discover not only had he been traumatically beaten, but that he had been shaken as well,and that there was blood around his brain. We were transferred to Riley hospital in Indianapolis. I am looking for financial support to cover outour basic needs while we are in the hospital, to help with my finances when I return home as I still have bills to pay, and to retain a good lawyer to help itsus ensure the sick individual who traumatized my son. We do not know how long we will be at Riley this time around. They have told us they think he won't have to have surgery, but it's not guaranteed. We are awaiting many other tests to ensure they missed no injures,and results from the EEG to determine if the baby needs medication for seizures. Any support is welcome,and gratefully apperciated. We hope to bring little Sebastian home soon!
