Melissa Linhares and Linhares Family

On October 28, 2013 Melissa Linhares was in a serious car accident on Highway 132. After being trapped in her car for countless minutes Melissa was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hospital soon after she was moved to a hospital in Castro Valley and treated for 2 weeks. Melissa was then transported to a Vacaville hospital and was monitored by specialty neurologists. Melissa still remains in critical condition with a traumatic brain injury and was recently moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility where she has still yet to awake.
Her parents Frank and Becky have remained bed side the entire time. This has caused an emotional drain on her parents, sister and family. The financial responsibilities have fallen upon her parents, and the goal we have set is to help reduce cost of medical bills, traveling expenses and a source of income to be able to stay by Melissa's side.
