Saving "Sis"

Our beautiful, larger than life Celia, has been battling Type 1 Diabetes for 20 years. Her body and soul are at war. Every day, she "spits in the eye of fate",as she endures incredible pain and damage to her body. Damage that literally threatens, and will eventually, take Celia's life. The most serious issues she faces are Neuropathy in her Autonomic Nervous System, as well, in her lower extremities. She suffers partial Paralysis in her Stomach and Upper Digestive Tract. She has Diabetic Retinopathy, which has already caused blindness in her right eye. The total darkness was (miraculously) reversed by Dr. Teske and his team, at the Moran Eye Clinic. As I type this, the Retinopathy is overtaking her left eye (but she will beat that too). She has serious Staph infections, issues with Bladder and Kidney's. Most recently, to qualify for the Transplant List, she had to have all of her beautiful teeth removed, due to an unrelated disease, she faced earlier in life called Amelogenesis imperfecta. Which, after all we could do, left unresolved Infection in so many root tips, it would have threatened her Transplant. The funds raised here will go to help with expenses related to the Transplant, as well as to restoring her beautiful smile when she is cleared by her Surgeon, for Implants.
