Medical Expenses for Carl Carlson

Carl Carlson is a great friend, fisherman and hard-working employee of Achten's Quality Roofing and is currently in the ICU of St.Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor. He has been in the ICU several times over the past month and a half, with an initial health concern that has led to revelations of much greater underlying health problems that have continued to worsen over such a short time. The doctors have discovered enlarged lymph nodes in his stomach, with a biopsy taking place on Dec.10th. Carl has been unable to eat for days at a time and has lost more than 40 pounds over the last month and a half. His condition is worsening, and every time he attempts to leave the hospital, he quickly ends up needing to go back for intensive care right away. He worked at Achten's Quality Roofing several years ago, and had medical coverage at the time of his employment. Carl left our company and just recently came back to work with us, so he is not yet eligible for medical coverage as the open enrollment opens in January. Our hearts and prayers go out to him, and we want to make sure that he gets the help he needs to be happy and healthy again. We have started this GoFundMe to try and offset some of his medical expenses, as we want to help him with the financial burden of the treatments he needs to recover from this, and to be back to his old self again.
