5k run for mum!

On Sunday 14th April I will be running my first ever 5k. I want to run in memory of my beautiful mum who sadly passed away in September 2014 when my little girl was just 4months old. Mum spent her final few days in the hospice and they were absolutely fabulous with mum. As soon as mum got moved to the hospice into her room mums face lit up. At this point mum wasn't eating or drinking as she was incredibly poorly but the staff literally went to the shop and bought ice lollies for mum to suck on. Nothing was every too much trouble for the staff and they always went the extra mile. Mum was the kind of person to do anything for anyone and I know she'd give back to the hospice for them caring for her but unfortunately she can't so I've took on the role. 

I've never ran before so I'm jumping in at the deep end with this 5k. I'm determined to run in memory of my mum but raise mm money for a charity so close to my heart.
