My name is Zachary Scoular. I am a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a board member of Brian Cody’s Brothers & Sisters Foundation (BrianCodysLaw.org).
Per the CDC, over 81,230 deaths occurred from drug overdose in 2020. An all-time high. Drug addiction has devastated friends, families, and communities alike.
We can bring change to this epidemic, we have to!
With the help and coordination from my friends at #BrianCodysLaw, we will be hosting a 5K Awareness Run and Recovery Festival on August 29th, 2021 at the Town Green in New Milford, CT.
The event will feature kids games, live music, art vendors, food trucks, recovery advisory specialist, celebration of life vigil and more!

All funds raised will go directly toward our festival this summer to keep admission FREE for all those who attend and to assist those seeking help with their recovery journey.
