I am deeply saddened to write that my beautiful mother, Carolina has lost her long and arduous battle with Cancer.
She was initially diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2012, and over the past 6 years did everything possible to fight this despicable illness. The courage and tenacity she showed while going through years of chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries, and medicine was encouraging but painful to witness. She was truly the strongest person I have ever been around. She left a lasting example of toughness and love for my father Noe and I, as well as my 20 yr old Brother Alex, my 18 yr old Sister Carolina, and my 9 yr old Sister Giselle. One we will never forget.
I am not one to ever ask for anything, but this is not about me.
My mom was born on August 11, 1968 in Monterrey, the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon.
The eldest of 4 sisters and one brother, it was her last wish to be laid to rest with her family. Outside of my father and siblings, the rest of our family is in Nuevo Leon.
We would like to do this as soon as possible, but we need help. Burial transits to another country are costly, but we would like to honor her by having her burial services in Sabinas Hidalgo.
I am asking for assistance in helping us get her home. Anything helps, and my family and I will be eternally grateful.
