One Child at a Time

In the Summer of 2013, I had the privilege to intern at an orphanage in Ethiopia. There were about 64 children in the orphanage with limited resources. There are about five children who need immediate support currently, my goal is to help those and eventually all. I witnessed many children with serious medical needs go without attention due to the orphanages insufficient funds to provide for their medical care. As a student I was not able to financially contribute by myself, but I knew that I could positively impact the children's well-being with the help of others. Upon my return to the U.S., my mission has become to help these children receive the immediate medical attention they desperately need. With your help, over the course of one year I would like to raise $10,000 to change the lives of these sweet and deserving children. Those of you who want to help the children directly please let me know. Currently we need wheelchairs, hearing aids and nutritionist foods. There are a lots of different way you could get involve, please let me know. I need your helping hands to make this happen.
