Helping Ray Nagel Heal

On November 21, 2013, Ray Nagel was admitted to the hospital with a severe staph infection that had entered his bloodstream. He has no idea how he got this infection and was told by the doctors how lucky he was to have started treated when he did. Ray has had surgery to remove two very large abscesses on the inside of his leg and to insert a drain. He spent 6 days in the hospital before he was able to come home to continue to heal.
I have started this fund to give Ray the financial support he has been giving me for years. As some of you may know, I have disabling arthritis and degeneration in my spine and I am unable to work. Ray as been caring and supporting me even when he barely could and did not have to. He does not have medical insurance and will not be able to work while he heals. He will be out of work for close to a month before he'll be able to return.
The loss of Ray's income has caused a tremendous financial crisis for our basic needs. I want him to be able heal and not have to worry about how to feed us, how to pay the bills and pay for continued medical care. I have tried to find emergency assistance but all the programs are out of funding for the year.
Anything would help, though, even if it is just prayer and emotional support. I do ask that you consider sharing this through Facebook and/or Twitter and through email. I ask you to please help me give to Ray the love and support has given out.
