A Home For Gunther, Lucas & daddy

Gunther, Lucas & their daddy have lost their home due to a divorce. Here’s their story from our local animal shelter...

Two weeks ago we had a young man come in....begging for help and we were full. There was a divorce situation, this young man lost everything, including his home. He had no where to go where he could take these two beautiful dogs, his babies, his children.He slept in his car for a few days looking for housing without success- he came to us. We helped him get them boarded for two weeks while he searched and searched and searched again without luck. Nowhere to rent where he could take these beautiful dogs. Today he wept as he surrendered them to us, as the only place he could go was with relatives who said no to his dogs. He wept as his hand shook signing the papers. Please meet Gunther (chow) and Lucas (Australian Shepard). We will tolerate no negativity- this man did every single thing he could do.

Their daddy would love to be able to keep them but needs help finding a place that will take them. And more importantly also needs help with a deposit & security since he’s lost everything. We all know, you can have no possessions but if you have a pet(s), you have everything. We would love to be able to keep them together but need tons of help. Plz help us help Gunther, Lucas and their daddy stay together!
