Medical Mission to the Philippines

Hey guys,
Thank you so much for taking the time out to read this. As you all know, the Philippines was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan (also known as Yolanda) on November 8th, 2013. A group of healthcare providers from New York affiliated with the Global Health Alliance Network (a non-profit organization), will go to the Philippines on January 10th, 2014 for two weeks to help provide medical care to those affected by this tragedy. We are no strangers to medical missions as many of us going on this mission to the Philippines also went to Haiti following the catastrophic earthquake of January 2010.
Initially we were planning on going to Tacloban, but our contacts in the Philippines told us that this area was really ravaged, and at this time they are only accepting help from the military as it is not safe there. Instead, we will be heading to a place called DaanBantayan, one of Cebu's northern provinces. We will be providing medical care based out of a local church, as it appears there are no local clinics or hospitals in the area left standing at this time or structurally sound enough for us to safely work in. We need all the help we can get!
We are looking to raise money to fund this trip, as airfare alone to the Philippines is expensive, and we also need money for medical supplies and medications for the people of Cebu. We are asking anyone who is able to please donate whatever you can, as any amount would be helpful towards us reaching our goal. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.
