Cody’s Surgery

Thank you for visiting this page. My name is Catherine, and I am Cody’s mom. My 11 year old son and I rescue senior boxers and we’ve had Cody for 3 years now. He’s our 4th rescue from Boxer Rescue Ontario.

Cody ate something that his body could not digest and required surgery to remove it from his stomach and upper bowel. The beautiful humans at Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic were so good with him (and with us). Cody is home with us now for the remainder of his recovery. He’s such a strong boy and is expected to be back to normal soon.

The $7,100 vet bill is more than I can handle; but I had to give him this life-saving surgery. Every rescue we have saves us in many ways, too.
