SonFest Southport Music Festival

My name is Tina Powsey, and five years ago, with the help of many, I created SonFest Southport - a free, Christian music festival located in the heart of Southport, Merseyside. We want to invite you to be part of something life-changing and even life-saving! SonFest Southport is a free music festival created to share the love of God with all! SonFest Southport should be accessible to everyone, and we will never charge an entry fee, but we need financial support to make this happen. Everyone involved with SonFest Southport, including myself, is a volunteer; only a few of the artists receive compensation, as this is their livelihood. Can you imagine hundreds of people gathered, worshipping together with reckless abandon - and passers-by witnessing this joy? Passers-by, including young people and families, stopping to see what all the buzz is about? Can you imagine someone feeling completely hopeless and finding themselves walking past and hearing a message of love, acceptance and freedom; a message that they would not normally have the chance to hear? I can! That's what SonFest Southport is all about - reaching those who haven't yet heard the life-changing, life-saving message of Jesus Christ! Being present in body and spirit, together, and watching God do what He does best - changing hearts of stone into hearts of flesh!SonFest Southport will present a day filled with live music from a variety of artists who are all there to reach the unreachable and to present the gospel in an exciting, welcoming style, and capturing the attention of passers-by who need to hear the promise of unconditional love, forgiveness and hope!
