We need a Lawyer

Please help my family with a lawyer to bring justice for my little cousin Basim Freeman, He was detained 4 days after his 18th birthday on October 24th, 2019. He is currently being held at Wayside jail in Castaic, CA with a 3 million and 70 thousand dollar bond. He is a child amongst adult men and he is not safe and has been attacked every time he goes to his court dates.
This is a situation of being in the wrong place at the wrong time but Basim Freeman is INNOCENT! He lost his father at the early age of 6 due to gun violence. He is not a menace to society, he is a good kid just misguided by the streets of Los Angeles and his peers. I asking for help to save his life from being tarnished and vanished away in the criminal system.  The system wants to give him 60 years to life for a crime he didn’t commit. The only evidence they have is someone circled his picture and stated he looks like the person they are looking for.

 

My family cannot afford to hire legal representation for him, so this fundraiser was made to help us pay for the proper representation that he deserves.
