<div>It is these words which Ash has tattooed on his chest. That feeling is one which many of us take for granted, and it is the very feeling that he seeks by getting top surgery.

<div>If you know Ash, you know what an absolute gem he is. If you don’t, let me tell you a bit about him: Ash is a kind friend, a goofy little guy, an amazing puppet designer, and a beautiful soul. He’s also the best f*cking husband and a loving son. He loves eels, adores the dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Park, and can talk for hours about the deep meanings and beauty of puppetry.

<div><strong>Why Does He Need This Surgery?</strong>

<div>Ash has been binding for years. While he’s always tried to do it safely, binding has taken a toll on his health. His chest and back often ache, and the binders limit his movement. Now that he started testosterone earlier this year, top surgery is the next big step for him to finally feel like his body is fully his.

<div>He’s looking forward to small but beautiful changes: working out without losing his breath from a tight binder, not sweating under layers of clothing during the summer, wearing clothes that make him feel confident, and no longer stressing about how he looks in public. Most importantly, he’s excited about seeing more of himself in the mirror.

<div><strong>Why Are We Fundraising?</strong>

<div>NHS wait times for top surgery are ridiculously long (2 to 5 years!), and Ash deserves to feel good in his body sooner than that. Going private is the only option, but it’s expensive. We’re all pitching in—Ash, me, and his parents—but we still need extra help to make sure we can cover the surgery without panicking about rent or bills while he recovers. Every bit helps!

<div><strong>The Cost Breakdown:</strong>

<div>Ash is aiming to raise £5,000. While this isn’t the full amount he needs to make the surgery happen, it’s a significant step toward achieving his goal.

<div>This money could cover travel expenses, various pillows to make sleeping more comfortable during recovery from top surgery,  pre-operation and post-operation consultations, and more!

<div>I know 5,000 sounds like a big number, but it’s also:
